Island Ciovo

The island of Ciovo is located in central Dalmatia and is connected by a drawbridge to the historic town of Trogir.

Ciovo island was inhabited in Roman times during the Middle Ages. In this area there were several small villages. Given that rocky terrain prevails on this island, there are several caves of which the most popular are Bilosaj cave and Ana's pit.

Island Ciovo looks like an extension of Trogir, offering many beautiful beaches which the residents are particularly proud of, but also has many historical monuments and is therefore very interesting as a single destination.
