How to arrive?

Plane

There are regular flights departing for the capital of Croatia – Zagreb, from almost all international airports. You can continue to fly towards the coastal places from there. Croatian Airlines and several large foreign companies fly to Zagreb every day. In the peak season the number of flights are increased, and many charter flights are moving directly toward the biggest tourist destinations in Croatia: Pula, Rijeka, Split, Dubrovnik and Brac.

Boat

International ferry and passenger lines connect Italian (Venice, Trieste, Ancona, Bari and Pescara) and the Croatian ports on these routes:

  • Zadar - (Brbinj / Long Island) - Ancona;
  • Korcula - (Old Town / Hvar) - Split - (Vis) - Ancona;
  • Split - Pescara;
  • Pula, Umag, Porec, Rovinj, Mali Losinj and Rabac - Venice;
  • Pula - Rimini;
  • Dubrovnik - Bari.

Daily ferry lines connect Rijeka and Split throughout the year. The line continues to Dubrovnik three times a week. Ferries from Rijeka to the southern part of the coast (Rijeka - (Rab) - (Zadar) - Split - (Old Town / Hvar) - Korcula - (Sobra / Mljet) - Dubrovnik - Bari), are a very good solution for drivers who this way can avoid a hard to drive yet scenic coast. If you have already come from far away, the ship is a good opportunity to relax until you arrive at your vacation destination.

Regular local and catamaran ferry lines connect the islands of Cres, Losinj, Rab, Pag, Ugljan, Pasman, Long Island, Iz, Solta and Brac, Hvar, Vis, Peljesac peninsula, the island of Korcula, Lastovo and Mljet with the mainland.
